I dont get it

So my mom got a Degree in the field of medicine relating back to the previous post, but when we moved to the U.S in 98 my moms degree was invalid here. So she had to get regular jobs and mom tells me that they still havn' sent the proof of her going to the university yet where at first I didn't believe she went to the university at first when I heard this.
